Privacy policy
Effective October 16, 2026. Wichita Dry-Out Line is a referral service that connects people with independent restoration companies. We do not perform restoration work. This policy explains what information the service handles and why.
Information you give us
When you submit the callback form, we receive what you choose to share. On the form that is your name, phone number, ZIP code, the type of problem, and any details you type in. When you send the form, the request also records the time, the page you sent it from, and your device's IP address and browser type, to help spot abuse.
Call information
This site does not show a phone number yet, so no calls come through it. When a phone number is shown on this site, we will keep, for each call, the phone number you call from and the date, time and length of the call. This site does not record calls. When a phone number is shown on this site, calls to it may be routed through a partner call network, which may record them under its own notice. If no company is available and you choose to leave a voicemail, we will keep that message so we can pass it on.
How the information is used
- To connect you with an independent restoration company that serves your area, and to pass along the details it needs to contact you.
- To confirm and keep records of referrals, including for billing between us and participating providers.
- To improve the service and prevent misuse, such as spam submissions.
Who it is shared with
Your request details are shared with our service partner and with the restoration provider or providers who may handle your request. Those providers are independent businesses with their own privacy practices. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. We may also share information if a government authority asks for it, or to protect the safety of people using the service.
Phone and text contact
By submitting the form you agree that an independent local company and our service partner may contact you by phone or text about your request. That consent is not a condition of purchase. Wichita Dry-Out Line itself does not send text messages. If you no longer want contact about a request, tell the person who contacts you.
Website data
Like most websites, this one runs on servers that keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested. The site does not use advertising cookies.
Retention and security
We keep request records only as long as needed for the purposes above and for reasonable business records, then delete them. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
The service is meant for adults arranging help for a property. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the effective date above will change too. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact page; write "privacy" in the details box.
